Friday’s my day to get my own bookwork up to date.
I have been monitoring my business card statement with ANZ and noticed that they had been charging interest on a correction that was processed in October. I rang the Commercial Card Help Desk and they were able to help me get the problem fixed.
The problem should not have occurred in the first place but checking my statement and following up the bank will see a refund hit my account for the full amount they charged in time for Christmas.
It’s a timely reminder. If something doesn’t look right on your bank statements, contact your local branch for an explanation and have them investigate the matter. If you are not happy with the response escalate the matter up the chain.
Thanks ANZ for the prompt response.
